Details have emerged on Apple's next handheld super-device, the 'iPhone HD', according to various reports.
The claims - which originate from the New York Post and tech pundit, John Gruber - state that the next iPhone will include a larger, 960 ?#8201;640 double-resolution display, faster CPU and front-facing camera.
It's also alleged that the new money-printing device will introduce 'OS 4', which is said to include multitasking support for third-party apps.
The alleged upgrades would of course have massive implications for Apple gaming, as iPhone HD games would have both more power and pixel space to work with, plus the opportunity to run in the background - excellent for persistent games ala Animal Crossing.
