The Nintendo® 3DS
The Nintendo 3DS might be using some interesting (and quite ruthless) anti-piracy methods...
Your 3DS tracks flash cart usage, won’t boot if you update your system
According to GoNintendo the 3DS might be ruthless when it comes to anti-piracy. On the subtler side your 3DS apparently tracks if you’ve used a flash cart and saves this data to a log. Retailers can then check if your 3DS has been involved in piracy and if it has, you won’t be able to trade-in games. But that’s not a huge deal. What’s a lot more interesting is that Nintendo is said to be planning an update (and I suspect, many updates) that will prevent your system from booting if it finds flash cart usage in your logs. You could just choose to not update the 3DS, but given that Nintendo will add a lot more features to the system over its lifespan, you might actually be selling yourself short. ***.
不知道真的还是假的
