在CMP爬文中，发现由于NPDRM保护，镜像里的任何东东都是不能修改的，晕啊。

Disclaimer: CMP does not condone piracy nor do i.

Not that great at forum posts and layouts and its a general tutorial but it works.

Should work for just about any backup manager and for firmware 3.41 and 3.55 if the game works on your firmware and with your backup manager.

Have your game on your internal HD or on your external USB HD either will be fine.
Install your cheat package for the game that would work with the disc version.

Start up your backup manager. Select your game and load it up but DO NOT use the direct launch feature so you get kicked back to the XMB.
Normally you start the game by selecting the disc at this point.
But instead of selecting the disc you select the installed cheat package and it should boot up and work normally with the cheats.
No fidgeting with changing boot.elf's with hexing paths and other stuff.
I tested it with final fantasy XIII and a few other games and it works for me. And it seems to work for others.

I hope this saves people some headaches

If the cheat package is made correctly it already has a working eboot with the cheats patched in. So i would guess no. Its not the same method as making hdd pkg files. You use the disc packages and no weird editing with path hexing.

If you are making your own packages make sure you have the patched and resigned eboot in the folder with all the other files needed to make a working package. If the package could work then you can use it. If your using any premade packages from the code creators on this forum they should work no problem.

If you are having problems with making your own packages i suggest checking out the CMP auto tools. They might help you with this.
