Aircraft carriers
I believe these are Kitty Hawk class CV’s and they are used by both ISAF and Erusian naval forces.
One of course is the one you land on when using planes like the F-4E, F-14A, F/A-18C, RM-01 or X-02.
The other one can be seen with a group of enemy warships trying to leave Comberth Harbor.

Fort Grace class: total number in class: 3

The three carriers of the Fort Grace class are based on the US Navy’s Kitty Hawk design which entered service between 1992 to 1995. Originaly to be a four ship class, it was decided to build only three vessels, Fort Grace (CV-04), Port Edwards (CV-05) and St. Ark (CV-06). The fourth ship was never built due the fact that much funding was needed for three projected nuclear powered carriers that the ISAF navy wanted . These three carriers are the major backbone of the ISAF Navy’s sea based airpower and they played a major role in the Usean continental war. Without them, ISAF would not have been successful in pushing back the Erusian forces and stopping them from their advance towards North Point.

Each vessel serves as flagship for their battle groups and are all very well suited for the job. They can provide everything from fleet air defense, strike and close air support operations, anti-submarine warfare, airborne warning and control and ***er support. In some cases these ships can be used for special operations forces by disembarking the air group and embarking helicopters and troops for cover operations. (On a few occasions during the Usea conflict the carrier St. Ark’s was used just before "Operation Bunker shot" on January 24th 2005 where special forces teams were inserted to assist the resistance fighters in and around the Caranda, Halle and Crown beaches.) Another important role for these carriers was disaster relief. After the fall of the Ulysses XF-04 asteroid, these ships were out assisting and helping in delivering food, clothing and other important supplies. They also acted as floating hospitals as well as airlifting search and rescue workers into the severely stricken areas around Usea.

As each of the Fort Grace class carriers forms the nucleus of their battle groups, and are the main centerpiece for them, they also need protection. Each of their battle groups consist of nine to eighteen other warships. These include at least two to three guided missile cruisers, two to four guided missile destroyers, one to five guided missile frigates, one or two support ships, and at least two or three hunter-killer submarines. Aside from their escorts, each vessel has good defensive armaments that consist of the NATO Sea Sparrow missile system, Vulcan Phalanx gatling guns as well as various countermeasure systems.
But their main firepower comes from the ships air group which is approximately 80 aircraft. During the war this was roughly what each vessel air wings consisted of, but during peace time operations this size is reduced down to around 65 to 49 aircraft. At the present time the aircraft types aboard the ships consist of F-14’s, F-4E’s, F/A-18C’s and Rafale M’s. As for the other types carried, these consist of support aircraft that include the E-2C Hawkeye for AWACs, the S-3B for anti-submarine and surface strike warfare, the EA-6 Prowler electronic warfare aircraft and a number of helicopters that can be used in variety of roles. Recently towards the end of the Usean war, a new experimental type carrier based aircraft was combat tested. Known only at this time as the X-02, this aircraft is capable of multi-mission task and carries the latest in next generation weapons such the Quick Maneuvering Air to Air Missile or QAAM. This missile seems to be based on the AIM-9X Sidewinder and is reportedly capable of locking on and attacking enemy aircraft that maybe at the pilots six o' clock position. Other information about the X-02 remains top secret but it is reported that eventually the aircraft will augment the types currently in service today and will give the navy an even greater power at sea.
With this kind of firepower the ISAF Navy will be a force that no enemy may want to deal with and as soon as the three nuclear carriers come on line they will add ever greater strength to an already formidable naval force.
