Dear Mr. Hayashi and Team NINJA,

All I ask of you is to please consider your original fans who helped you achieve the level of success in the first place. I feel like the changes to Ninja Gaiden and even to Ryu Hayabusa himself is just some sort of business venture to maximize profit. I feel as if Mr. Hayashi while developing Ninja Gaiden 3 said, "Fans will like this change. It's just a game."

Modern Ninja Gaiden is NOT just a game. Pong, IS just a game. Tetris, is just a game. Pac Man 1, 2, 3, and 4 are just games. Ninja Gaiden is ART. It's an epic mythological tale pitting good versus evil; it's not a Leisure Suit Larry game. It's not Duck Hunt. It's a franchise that has spawned more passionate fans than anything in terms of hardcore hack & slash gameplay and a unique Japanese dark hero.

We criticize it because we love it. We criticize it because we all OWN it. It's become the property of our ***ure, and should be preserved within its original form for future generations to play.

Ryu Hayabusa and Ninja Gaidens good vs. evil has shaped and built my entire moral compass and you're going to put it in the same level as Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 and Frogger... "It's just a game", to you Mr. Hayashi, it may be, but it's NOT for us. Please keep that in mind for future numbered Ninja Gaiden titles.
