UK DS Lite announcement due on Monday?

UK trade magazine MCV expects price and release date to be confirmed on Monday, May 22.

Nintendo will announce the UK date and pricing of its DS Lite console on Monday, according to trade publication MCV. The magazine believes that the company will finally confirm the console's UK launch plans, following a similar announcement in America recently.

据英国权威杂志MCV,任天堂将于5月22日宣布在英国地区的DS LITE的发售日期和发行价格.其有理由相信任天堂的发售价格将会和美国地区的差不多.

DS LITE主机自从2006年3月以来在日本上市,成功是大家都看到的,一度还出现了脱销现象.
DS Lite预计将于六月十一日在北美地区上市,价格预计为129.99美元(大约69英磅),在澳洲地区的价格则为199.95美元(大约80英磅)

新的DS Lite旧款的DS体积上小了42%,而且又轻了21% 新的特色包括了可以进行明暗度调节,比较长的游戏遥控杆以及可重新复位的电源开关和启动开关.

New features for the system include four different brightness settings, a longer and thicker stylus, and a relocation of the Power and Start/Select buttons..
