Another Edition is a cellular based spin-off of Fatal Frame that was released only in Japan in October, 2004. The game made use of a cellphone camera as the Camera Obscura and required the players to find ghosts and fight them. Fatal Frame IV, known as Zero ~Tsukihami no Kamen~ (零～月蝕の仮面～, Zero ~Tsukihami no Kamen~? lit. Zero ~mask of the lunar eclipse~) in Japan, is the fourth installment of the Fatal Frame video game series. IGN has reported an interview with producer Keisuke Kikuchi conducted by Japanese website IT Games, in which Kikuchi indicates that there will be twice as many characters in the game's world, as compared to previous titles.[1]

At Tokyo Game Show, Tecmo released information saying the game was for the Wii and would be made with the help of Grasshopper Manufacture.[2] The project will begin sometime in the near future as it was delayed for Grasshopper's development of No More Heroes, which has since been released on the Wii.

Despite this, in late January 2008, it was revealed that Nintendo will play a heavy role in the game's development, with directorship roles shared between Shibata Makoto, who has previously been involved in the direction of the Fatal Frame series and Goichi Suda (commonly known as Suda 51) from the previously mentioned Grasshopper Manufacture[3]. Although the game appears to joint effort between Tecmo, Grasshopper and Nintendo, it was revealed that the game will be published under the Nintendo banner, further fueling speculation that Nintendo has purchased the Fatal Frame franchise from Tecmo.

The game may see a release in Japan sometime in summer 2008. The game is expected to be rated M for mature by the ESRB in the USA, which will make it the third game published by Nintendo to receive an M certificate (after Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, and Geist).

确实出过一款手机上的，但是跟整个系列没有什么联系，那是几年前针对DOCOMO的一款手机出的，通过手机的镜头可以在你生活的场所里拍到怨灵，可惜我那时候已经不使用DOCOMO的手机了，所以没有下载过这个游戏……
