Menus are sluggish, load times are long and tutorials are thin. Very little character throughout.

The focus is clearly on the physics, not the graphics. Textures and lighting aren’t great, although the environments impress.
7.0 Sound
Vehicles and effects sound good, but the odd soundtrack alternates between Spanish guitar and boring angst-rock.

learning curve is rough, and there are problems with hit detection and career pacing. Once you get the hang of it, endurance races can be fun.

The diffi***y level and length of the career ensures that you’ll be chipping away at Baja for a while. And the multiplayer is a sure draw.

Dude, where's my anti-aliasing? Cars are pixellated and the framerate is all over the place. This does not look like a PS3 game.
