A new firmware update 4.85 has been released, this means Exploits (PS3HEN / CFW / Exploit Tool and some homebrew / tools need to be updates to support 4.85. This list below attempts to track everything related to the 4.85 Update.​

4.85.1 Hybrid Firmware Released. (This modified OFW (installable on all consoles) brings back the hole utilized by PS3Xploit in 4.82 OFW and later in 4.84 (HFW) for CFW or PS3HEN installations (depends on your model, if your model can handle CFW go that route if not then PS3HEN is a suitable alternative, not as feature rich as CFW but has many CFW features.)
Note: This release only brings back the vulnerability from 4.82 , Tools / Homebrew / Payloads needs to be updated fully to support 4.85. In other words there is more work to be done before we graduate to 4.85 from 4.84.
Note 2: After installing the Hybrid Firmware, you can then choose to either exploit farther with flash writer (needs a 4.85 released yet in testing RELEASED) and install a 4.85 CFW afterwards or execute the PS3HEN exploit.
