Extract your profile from hdd1:\content\E00randomNumber\Fffe07d1\00010000\E00randomNumber
I filled my patched xuid with all zeros following step-by-step the already named porchmonkey's tutorial.
Then open Horizon (runas Administrator on Vista/Win7 if you want to use its integrated file explorer over your xbox hdd).
Go to "Profile Mods" tab
[1] Click on "Account Editor"
[2] Click on "Open" to load your profile
[3] Click on "LIVE Enabled" so it becomes grey
[4] Click on "Save" so it was saved and resigned
[5] Click on the gear icon on the top right to take a look at your profile and check the various IDs are correct.
Transfer the profile back again on your HDD and enjoy!
Obviously your profile will turn offline again and you will loose your avatar stuff. But you'll get all your achievements and savegames working again.
