Nowhere could i find this info. I found a hint on a swedish forum but no explanation as to how to do it.
If you have a Hitachi 47 you need to do the following.
1. Dump FW. Doesnt matter if it's CFW or OFW.
2. Open the dumped FW file from your DVD-drive with Jungleflasher under the tab "FirmwareTool 32" in the upper section named "Source".
3. Move down to "Target" and open the target FW (OFW or CFW) for Hitachi 79, it doesn't matter which revision as far as i know.
4. Press "Spoof Source to Target".
5. Press "Save to file".
6. Rename the newly created FW file to "firmware.bin" and place it on the SD card.
This should get your XGD3 games working. Remember, if you have been online with your XBOX 360 after Nov. 17th you need to update to firmware 1.11b2 to get them going again.
The reason you have to spoof is that the Hitachi 47 original firmware does not work for some reason. If it's mentioned somewhere here in the forum then i apologize for this dupe post.
