Namco Hometek has shipped Dead to Rights II to retail outlets throughout North America for the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox today. Dead to Rights II is rated “M” for Mature by the ESRB. Dead to Rights II details the events before the first installment of the game, with beat cop Jack Slate and his K-9 partner Shadow combing the dirty streets of Grant City for clues about the abduction of an important city official. Jack and Shadow stumble into some trouble along the way and soon find themselves having to take on a powerful mob in the fight of their lives.
The new game features a spherical slow motion combat system, more than 25 original disarms, the ability to use Shadow to attack enemies, and the ability to use a myriad of weapons and fighting skills including fists, blades, bats, pistols, assault rifles and heavy artillery.
