SONY对F1 06取消网络对战的说法

"Dear XXXXXX,

Thank you for your recent e-mail regarding Formula One '06 which has been forwarded to myself at our Head Office today.

I understand from your e-mail that you feel aggrieved by the lack of any online mode within Formula One '06. I can advise that, as a company, we felt that It was important to release the game whilst the Formula One season is in full swing, especially during the busy European Grand Prix summer period.

Therefore, to avoid disappointing our large Formula One fanbase, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) made a decision to concentrate on the offline elements of the game, such as the pickup and play gameplay, improved racing aids, enhanced car animation / physics and voice commentary. These elements are an essential part of the Formula One fan's gaming experience and it is important that the game reflects the excitement of the current season. This season is as competitive as ever and it was important for SCEE to release the game while the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship is still underway.

I trust that this goes someway to explain why there was no online element in this year's release, however, should you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me. "

ummm, the point wasn't the lack of an Online Mode. The point was the way it was advertised as having an Online Mode, then released without an Online Mode.
[and STILL being advertised as having online mode on many game websites that sel.

那好,我翻译:
对一个公司来说,我们觉得在F1赛季火热的时候发布游戏是很重要的,特别是比赛正在紧凑的欧洲夏季阶段。
因此,为了不让广大的fans失望,SCEE下决定集中开发非在线部分,诸如在游戏可玩性,驾驶辅助,增强车辆的动画/物理和声音素质。这些元素对于F1游戏粉丝们来说是必不可少的,而且重要的是这些可以真实反映现在刺激的赛程,目前赛季正前所未有紧张激烈,所以SCEE在此时(06赛季还在进行时)放出游戏是相当重要的

可能是都去研发ps3的作品才导致ps2版明显有缩水的迹象......

这次OFF LINE系统做的非常完善,是很耗时间和精力的,再加上PS3版本的开发进度缓慢,才导致这样的结果吧

我看是因为为了更好的体现在PS3上发售的06的网络优势而故意取消PS2版的网络对战。
