ETD doesn't mean the the actual date they are going to ship your order, but the time frame the goods will ground into their warehouse. An ETA may be set earlier if shipments arrive at one of their hubs. Your pre-order will hold a position in their warehouse, but it doesn't mean they will send your goods prior to ETD. That's how their system works.
