Petr Cech, back in action on Sunday after surgery on both shoulders during the summer, has been talking about his return to fitness.

Chelsea’s keeper during back-to-back title wins originally damaged his left shoulder as long ago as March 2005. The occasion was the home win over Barcelona.

Cech played on in pain but four months from the end of last season, he injured his right shoulder as well. An operation was planned for as soon as possible after his involvement in the World Cup ended. On June 26th he went under the knife.
切赫带伤坚持完成了上赛季的后4个月的比赛，但与此同时，他的右肩也付出了受伤的代价。手术立刻被安排在他的世界杯之旅结束后。6月28日，他走上了手术台。
Just one Premiership game into his comeback, the player has joined the Czech Republic squad for games against Wales and Slovakia, confident he has made a full recovery.

The shoulder has improved a lot during the last few days, I am 100% fit,” he has told Czech television.

“If I hadn't played for Chelsea at the weekend, I wouldn't be sure I could play in the qualifiers. Now I know it will go without a problem. If the coach wants, I am ready.”

His clean sheet performance at Blackburn drew praise from José Mourinho.

The manager said: “The save he made from McCarthy was crucial and when they tried to put some long balls in the box, for Petr it was easy. He controls the space in the air and gives confidence to the team.”

Cech felt comfortable throughout.

“I had no fear as regards the injury,” he claims. “I knew it was holding perfectly. I went to play with the intention to do the maximum. It was the first match for me without painkillers in 15 months and therefore I enjoyed it.

“It was thanks to the work of all the physicians, physiotherapists and other people at Chelsea. I spent everyday in the training centre, doing rehabilitation from morning to evening and was trying hard to speed up the recovery. Also, the surgery went perfectly.
“在这里我要感谢所有的在切尔西的医生，理疗师和帮助过我的人。我整天都待在训练中心，从早到晚都在积极的做恢复训练努力加快我的恢复速度。还有，手术做的非常成功。”
“The injury had several stages, in the last few weeks the treatment progressed further and my body managed to solve all the problems. I will be doing some special exercises for some time. I want to be 100 per cent sure this will be okay.”
“伤愈是分阶段的，随着过去几周里不断的深入治疗，我的身体也在不断的适应。我会在以后不时做些特殊的训练去达到100%的状态。”
