The storyline in Sinking Island is a pretty interesting one. You play the part of Jack Norm, a private investigator. You are sent to check out a tropical island where the murder of a billionaire hotel owner has taken place. Your job is to sift through the evidence, and information given to you by the 10 suspects to put an end to the mystery. The game gets its title from the fact that the island is constantly sinking due to the huge stature of the billionaire’s hotel. This leaves gameplay to take place over a 3 day period (simulated, not real time) where certain clues and items will be lost to the ocean as time passes.
