get snippy=无礼的，粗暴的
My girlfriend gets snippy when i tell her
i'm going out with the boys.
当我跟我的女友讲我要和男孩一起出去的时候，她变得很无礼了。
sweat=担心，沮丧
He is sweating his exams.
he knows he hasn't studied enough.
他一直在为他的考试而担心，他心里很明白还没准备好
we'll definitely beat them next time around so don't sweat it that we lost today.

get on somebody's nerves=惹怒，使人生气

He had a bad day at work and

他今天在工作上干得很不顺，所以回家的时候很气愤。

wind up=两个的关系最终走到一起去了

what's up=打招呼（类似how are you doing），有什么事情吗（类似what's happening）
So what's up,are we going to the movies tonight?

She's been really upset all day long.
i don't know what's up with her.
她一天都不高兴，我也不知道出了什么事情
watch your back=多加警惕
It's a very dangerous situation;you really
need to watch your back to avoid getting hurt.

I've explained to him twice now but i'm worried he doesn't feel
what i'm trying to tell him.

fresh=不要脸的；行为举止不恰当（两个意思，结合上下文分析）
If anyone acts fresh in class then the teacher sends him straight out to
the headmaster.

overdo it=做过了，物极必反
The doctor said i could play tennis if i didn't overdo it.
医生说如果不剧烈运动的话，还是可以打打网球

she'd kill me.

他的分数极高无比破了纪录，没有人能在这个考试里面取得过那么高的分数

她是队里游得最快的，她破过纪录
out of his mind=发神经，脑子有问题
You must be out of your mind to lend him money.
he'll never pay you back.
你把钱借给他，你一定是脑子有问题，他不会还你的
someone's going nuts=激动得过了头（太高兴或者太悲伤）
The audience is going nuts.
their team just won the game.
他们球队拿下了比赛，球迷都乐疯了
My husband is going nuts beacuse i spent $500 on a pair of shoes today.
我丈夫气得很激动，因为我今天花了500美元买了双鞋
