Reviews from the main web sites are pretty much irrelevant in my book.... they all get ad money... L4D has a $10 million ad campaign, you do the math. All the web sites I have seen review L4D have ads all over site for it.

Plays like a 6/10, overated POS.
I expect being flamed but who cares, tried the demo and it plays like a generic fps with zombies.
Graphics suck, gameplay is straight from HL2 and outdated (same makers of this), lame clichéd characters, boring level design.
It`s a generic fps with co-op, big ***ing deal, the enemies suck, AI sucks, it's been done before (and better) and the sad thing is, it would probably end up being GOTY.
Tell me, what's so good about this? I'm intrigued, afterall its had rave reviews.
I'd probably rather play Resident Evil:Outbreak f1&2 than this POS, even they're not that good.

仅从DEMO来看这也就是个普通得不得了的杀僵尸版FPS
使用过时的引擎，画面其差，游戏方式和《半条命2》如出一辙（同一个制作小组）
队友和僵尸的AI***，怪物设计傻X，游戏关卡设计苍白无新意
宁愿玩《生化危机 逃出升天》系列也不想碰这个充斥虚虚实实高分REVIEW的无聊游戏
I really wanted this game to be good and downloaded the demo with excitement the second it hit.
WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS SEEING!
THIS GAME IS **** POOR.
The game is way to fast, it's even faster then COD. It's to the point where your just spraying bullets as opposed to accurately shooting.
The graphics are absolutely sub par. Do not say they are good they are not. Compare it to any top notch title.
The sounds are so repetitive and frequent its annoying.
If you sit in another room it sounds like non stop firing holding down the button the entire time.
The zombies are so dumb they sit in rooms hunched over and do nothing they dont even move. Then when your on them they just right DIRECTLY at you.
You can just sit and spray bullets endlessly and kill everything with no skill.
You spend half your time "covering" teammates by SPRAYING bullets in their direction until you have killed the zombies and have already put 1/4 clip into your friend who barely takes any damage from your bullets...?
Covering your teammates is a joke. Why are you guys acting like this is a good team game. If you dont spray bullets they die. Thats not good teamwork thats just the way it work.
On the other hand, it's really nice to see a zombie game and I feel like they might have actually had something here.
This is a mod to counterstrike adding zombies. Nothing more. It even feels the same. There is a video going around of the L4D engine running a level of de_dust and it's indistinguishable except for the horrible enemy AI.
I'm blown away at how many people are enjoying/anticipating this game.
There is NOTHING to do but RUN AND SHOOT. NOTHING. and your running with NO PURPOSE.
