It is believed that Gears of War 3 is currently in development. You would have heard those rumours several months ago, but could the game be unveiled at the 2009 Video Game Awards?
Spike TV host Geoff Keighley recently sent a tweet to the Gears of War design director Cliff 'CliffyB' Bleszinski saying;
"You ready for the big show on Saturday night? Can't wait to see you!"
The 2009 VGA's still have a few unannounced titles that will be announced at the awards ceremony, and Keighley has been teasing us all saying that the line-up will blow us away. Gears of War 3 would definitely blow us all away I'm sure. Let's hope it happens.
It may not be Gear 3 however, EA Games are set to publish a new IP from the North Carolina based developers. So they could be unveiling that project for the first time.
The 2009 Video Game Awards take place on December 12, and unfortunately will not be shown via live online stream. We'll bring you all the latest VGA updates.
This is strictly rumour, so don't get carried away guys. All we can do is hope for the best, and maybe Gears 3 will turn up, somewhere.
