Gentlemen,

I bid you all good evening my good friends (or good morning, whenever you are reading this post). There has been a gripe on these forums about a couple of things. Some of the problems of Fifa 10 that plagued the online gameplay were the following... though it seems like my #4 has been implimented? Let me know what you think.

1. Custom Formation Abuse

Note, this is different then custom tactics. The custom formations are having things like 6-0-4 formations. As we all know, these are absolutely ridiculous formations, that leave people free to exploit the game. There is NO need to put these custom formations in ranked matches, and hopefully, Fifa 11 will get rid of custom formations, as they are so obviously flawed and contribute to ruining the online multiplayer experience.

2. Ping Pong Passing

I'm not going to say that the "default" should be manual settings. I think that is going too far. Here's what I propose, however. Keep everything else assisted, but make ground passing manual. That way, people are not rewarded for their ping pong passes, and it will actually make people play with their midfield, rather then this rubbish that isn't really football.

Furthermore, when you work up possession with good build up play to get an opportunity on net, then if there's a loose ball in the box, people can't just hit the A button 3 times, and then have a great counter attack on your keeper.

3. High Pressure Abuse - - - > Fatigue

There needs to be a difference here. I know that high pressure is a part of football, but you never actually see your stikers running around the pitch with their heads cut off, and then never being tired enough. Punish the players that want to high pressure abuse.

4. Online Ranked Lobbies

This, my friends, is the other thing that I wanted to discuss. Fifa World Cup 2010 came out, and guess what? There are NO online ranked lobbies for head to head matches. I cannot even find a manual game in a lobby in the World Cup game.

This makes me wonder, what influence I may have had in changing the lobby system? Could it be that UDLawman single-handedly changed the format of lobbies because so many people complained at what they percieved to be an unfair advantage? Not that I actually went into lobbies and picked on noobs, but that is of course the word on the street.

I'd like to know your thoughts on this, and other future changes for Fifa 11.
