IOS58 Installer does one thing, and one thing only - download and install IOS58 from the Nintendo update servers. This process does not involve any system-critical parts of the system, and is completely safe. IOS58 is required for USB 2.0 support in homebrew applications and is the default IOS used by HBC 1.0.8+. It is included in System Menu 4.3, but those who do not wish to update to 4.3 can just run this installer to get the benefits of IOS58.

简单说就是要用到USB 2.0特性的自制软件会需要，尤其是HBC，1.0.8以后的版本默认调用IOS58

介个倒是不会，不是号称base IOS56的cIOS更好些么……

但畢竟cIOSX rev20/20b並未支持IOS58 based
也不知IOS58 based是否會更好...

不過IOS58貌似也就只是個支持USB 2.0的官方IOS
除此之外是否有其他特性就待Waninkoko大神更新吧！
