1) Download KinectTouchv2 from http://essexconsolerepairs.co.uk/programs/openkinect/KinectTouchv2.rar
2) Download CL NUI Platform Installer from http://codelaboratories.com/get/nui/ and install it (make sure libusb drivers are unintalled first)
4) We need to set up our kinect perfectly center to our monitor/wall we want to use as the mouse surface.. it should look a little like this:
3) Plug your kinect in if it isnt in already
4) Run KinectTouchV2.exe
5) now we need to screenshot the window to be able to get the colour of the depths we want to use (press a finger on the surface of the wall/monitor you want to use and then printscreen the depth image)
6) Now using a picture editing program, use the colour picker to get the RGB image values of your wall/monitor (note in the program it lets you put a varied range in case for example the left of the screen is darker than the right
7) Now you need to enter these details into the program in the 'Background color to detect' area.. it should look a little like this: (your values will be different)
8) I dont recomend you press set yet until you have done the same for your finger press as it can cause the program to become very slow
9) Now do the same with the color picker for your fingertip, try to get the data from the end of your finger but make sure it doesnt collide with any from your background... again it should look like this:
10) Now you can feel free to press Set on both the Fingertip color to detect and the Background colour
11) its okay if you can see red dots on the right feed even if you are not touching the area, as long as they are not in the region where your screen/wall is, if they are you need to re do steps 5 onwards and get non clashing colors
12) Now we can set the field that you want to be captured.. this is done by changing the values in the 'Set working area:' section...
13) i recomend that you put your finger in the top left corner then alter the values and press set so that the red dot of your finger is in the corner of the feed
14) do it for each corner and when you are done you should be able to take your hand away from the 'depth zone' and the graph on the far right should stay still... when you move your hand around on it it should then move with your hand...
15) press enable mouse and enjoy
sorry if you dont get this, try figure it out anyway
