从招聘工作表中三项职位中不难看出微软貌似是要准备着手Xbox 360后继者的开发工作！
招聘工作表中列有：
“硬件验证测试工程师”（'hardware verification engineer'）
“VLSI 图形架构设计工程师”（'VLSI graphics architect'）[注：VLSI 超大规模集成电路(Very Large Scale Integrated circuits)]
“VLSI 性能架构师”（'VLSI performance architect' ）
这几个职务听上去怎么都像是关于下代主机的！
“来加入我们dynamic engineering team 并在开发与验证Xbox与未来平台中作为一名关键角色”
“我们在寻求经验资深的硬件设计/验证工程师 如果你能设计验证并对组件与主板、系统等有较深资历 那你将胜任并领导此项重任! ”
在图形架构设计工程师招聘页面写道：“Xbox 主机构建团队正在招募图形硬件工程师 引领进行测试用例的讨论，开发测试方法和计划，以及项目管理鉴定周期。”

这是一件让人想想都兴奋的事 当然 现目前来开这项工程还处于很相当前期的阶段 即使是自2005年360发售以来！
所以他们这是比平常生命周期更长的主机时 这并不是开玩笑的。
It looks like Microsoft is preparing to go full steam ahead with development on the successor to the Xbox 360 as three job listings appear on Linkedin.
Microsoft is looking for a 'hardware verification engineer', a 'VLSI graphics architect' and a 'VLSI performance architect' for work on what sounds like the next-gen console.
"Come join a dynamic engineering team and play a key role in the development and verification of the Xbox and future platforms," it says in the engineer listing.
"We are looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Design/Verification Engineer. You will be responsible for the design verification and qualification of the Xbox console at the component, motherboard, and system levels. You will lead test strategy discussions, develop test methodologies & plans and project-manage qualification cycles," it adds.
On the graphics architect page, is says: "The Xbox Console Architecture team is hiring for a Graphics hardware architect position. The team is responsible for defining and delivering next generation console architectures from conception through implementation."
It's exciting to think about, sure, but this would also seem to suggest that development is still in the earliest of stages - almost six years after the 2005 release of the 360.
So when they predicted this would be a longer console cycle than usual they weren't kidding.

一体どの段階まで準備が進められているのか、
これらの求人情報から読み取ることは難しいですが、
現行のXbox 360発売から既に6年近くが経過しているだけに気になる話題だと言えます。 |
