Rumor – Starhawk to get official reveal next month
A source close to SystemLink has told the site that Sony plans to reveal Lightbox’s rumored Starhawk next month.
According to the site, the third-person shooter is being build on a new engine, is to be released on disc instead of digitally like previous games in the series, and will contain a full single-player campaign with jeeps, **s, and spaceships.
The maps will supposedly represent different planets with “small areas for ground combat,” in a universe Earth is not a part of.
Most of this information was outed last month by a Saudi site, which had us wondering at the time if there were two different WarHawk games in the works.
Looks like that is not the case, since spaceships were noted this time around.

The LinkedIn profile of Martin van der Meulen, an employee of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, has revealed that Sony is currently developing an unannounced PS3 exclusive
Martin held the position of Creative Producer for Playstation Home at SCE EU, before taking on his current role of Creative Producer within Sony’s London studio for an unannounced PS3 title, seven months ago.
His profile clearly mentions this in bold letters: “Creative Producer – unannounced PS3 title at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. I currently work on an unannounced PS3 title within Sony’s London Studio.”
Although, it’s diffi*** to predict what this game might be, considering it’s Sony London, there’s the off chance the game might be Eight Days or The Getaway, since the studio was working on each before the projects came to a halt.

Sucker Punch is apparently already beavering away on a new IP, destined for PlayStation 3 exclusivity.
At an event in Madrid last night, a Sucker Punch spokesperson reportedly told PSNow! (cached, auto-translated) the studio has a new Sony-exclusive game in the works, which is neither inFamous nor Sly Cooper related.
Said to be a brand new IP, the game will not be seen at E3.
PSNow! has since redacted the article, reportedly at Sony’s request.
Sucker Punch is currently holding a closed beta for InFamous 2 ahead of the game’s June launch, and has not yet announced a follow-up project.
