Pokemon Coming to iPhone, Android
Nintendo remains firm on hardware exclusivity.

The Pokemon Company has announced that Nintendo's iconic Pokemon franchise is heading to the iPhone and Android marketplace. The app, called Pokemon Ie Tap?, is reportedly a rhythm game where players time beats to songs based on the popular anime. Currently the app is only scheduled for release in Japan.

Naturally this news calls into question Nintendo's larger strategy for content release. Is the company willing to move into the mobile market, despite the fact that it's just launched a new portable system and has always maintained its software is exclusive for its systems?

Nintendo says "no" - it remains committed to supporting its consoles and portables exclusively. According to a Bloomberg report, Nintendo stated that Pokemon Company is a separate entity, free to make its own business decisions. The company added that there are "no plans for a change" regarding supporting outside platforms with Nintendo-produced content.

Nintendo's stock rose when the app was announced. The company owns 32% of Pokemon Company as well as part of the franchise's trademark.

音乐游戏是很好的休闲游戏类型，受众群相当庞大，而且机制比较简单，唯一的一个问题就是各音乐的版权获取了……

别家有钱不是不能买去，只是PM正统作品在别家主机上能怎么活才是问题~

话说剩余的那68%又是谁的？？SONY、MS财大气粗至此都没能收下其中的股权么？？

SONY目前在SE还有17%的股份，但是在这个时代SE跟360和Wii都开发过独占游戏，就是没跟PS3开发独占游戏，而且FFV13独占渺茫！
