We find today with the release of a highly anticipated racing game that Microsoft has made available to game publishers a new security into their babies.
This new security called for Content Integrity Verification CIV (which could result in Integrity Check Content) adds checks on the data disk at certain points of the game (eg when you enter a room , ...), before saving a query to verify data on the disk is sent, a hash is made, if different from that expected, we get an error like this:

it seems that for Forza, these checks arrive randomly and not at specific points of the game
On the different solutions for launching games, ways to bypass security begin to emerge:
★ Let's start with the JTAG. For reasons that remain secret, it seems that if one goes through XeXMenu, the error does not appear. Attention should boot on the console or NXE XeXMenu not by FSD if it does not work. Indeed, if one starts on FSD, the plugin will be launched and it will not work.
★ For CFW C4E of the addict burning believed to see the end of the tunnel with the LT2.0 XGD3 ... and no, we will have a new Firwmare. We can also see that different IRC chan C4E bump already on it.
★ Finally regarding emulators readers, I have not managed to get back ... too few people own them so W & S (I will update the news).
An interesting little detail, even if only temporarily, that security also affects JTAG which previously were susceptible to any security. But it is highly likely that a patch soon so that return information "hash" when a proper request CIV will be requested.
The game of cat-mouse continues between MS and therefore Hackers ...
