RULES OF CONDUCT FOR ONLINE PLAY
These Rules of Conduct outline the rules that you need to follow. While it is by no means an all-inclusive list, it provides a starting point from which you can determine if your actions are appropriate. Failure to follow these rules may mean you will be banned from playing the Game.
What you can’t do:
· Don't use the Game to do anything illegal. CEI isn't responsible for anything you say on the service or for anything that happens because of what you say; you alone are responsible.
· Don’t violate any relevant law or posted guidelines or codes relating to the use of the Game.
· Don’t provide or offer to provide services for the provision of gaming or wagering services.
· Don’t abuse other players, CEI employees, CEI partners, CEI affiliates, or the GameMaster.
· Don’t defame, abuse, harass, spam, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
· Don’t use foul language, in any language.
· Don’t publish, distribute, discuss or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent, or unlawful topic, name, material, file or information, and other unlawful materials like child ***ography or illegal drugs.
· Don't create a Login Name with any profanity, sexually explicit language, sexual innuendo, or racial, ethnic, or religious slurs in it.
· Don't create a name that references controversial religious topics, notorious people, organizations, or sensitive current or historical events that may also be considered inappropriate.
· Don’t publish, distribute or disseminate any topic, name, material, file or information that incites discrimination, hate or violence towards one person or a group because of their race, religion, nationality, transgender status, homosexual status or HIV/AIDS status, or that insults the victims of crimes against humanity by contesting the existence of those crimes.
· Don't give false information or intentionally hide any information when registering for your Account.
· Don’t give out information that personally identifies you such as your real name, address, phone number, credit card number, etc. while you're playing. This includes names you create. This information could be used by other players for illegal or harmful purposes. Also, don’t give out the personal information of other players.
· Don’t harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent.
· Don’t create a false identity for the purpose of misleading others, like impersonating or attempting to impersonate CEI employees, its partners, affiliates or other game players.
· Don’t view, intercept, or attempt to intercept private communications not intended for you.
· Don't cheat in a game unless cheats have been deliberately enabled.
· Don’t use the Game or any material or information which is made available through the Game or the online service in any manner that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any party.
· Don’t upload files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of CEI’s game servers, another’s video game console or other property of another.
· Don’t flood the screen (i.e. hitting “enter” over and over again”) which interferes with others ability to chat.
· Don’t advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services or post any web links associated with such offer.
· Don’t sell or buy any items, equipment, or money in the game with real currency.
Always use caution when giving out any personally identifiable information about yourself or your children. Your communications are not private and can be recorded and used by others.
If you violate the Rules of Conduct or the Online End User License Agreement that you agreed to, action may be taken against your Account. For example, if you create an inappropriate Login Name you may be required to change it. If you use an inappropriate nickname you may be temporarily locked out of your Account. If we are notified that you have posted inappropriate content of any kind, it may be removed. Depending on the severity of the offense, you may even have your Account terminated. CEI is not obligated to send you a warning before these actions occur. If you are banned while participating in the Game CEI assumes no liability in the loss of any potential gain.
