Monster Materials to use: Mana for levels 2-10, 20, 30, and 40-99.Potent for
levels 11-19, 21-29, and 31-39.
Crystarium Expansions---: +3 ATB, +1 Bonus Boost. However, choosing +2 ATB, +2
Bonus Boost instead is also viable if you prefer buff
duration over ATB.
Additional Abilities----: Teach it Faithga, Enfire, Enfrost and Enthunder.
Then teach it Boon by infusing 99 levels worth of
SAB monsters into it.
Special Notes-----------: Only level it to level 98 to avoid learning Veil.
Purpose of this Monster-: The idea of the "Auto-Everything" SYN is to place it
in your starting Paradigm in order to begin a battle
with a myriad of buffs, and then Paradigm Shift into
another monster, usually a COM or a RAV. You can
Paradigm Shift immediately, or give it a chance to
cast some offensive buffs on your party, such as
Bravery, Faith, or the En- spells. First Strike makes
it so that it is almost guaranteed to cast a bonus
buff or two before you even have the opportunty to
Paradigm Shift, provided that he does not behave
unusually. This strategy is particularly helpful for
Omega, who is poor at opening battles where you don't
have a pre-emptive strike.
Alternatives:
HP +30% (8)-------------: If you plan to keep your Purple Chocobo out during
battles when it might be in danger, it could be
practical to replace a single passive slot with this.
First Strike would probably be the weakest link
because, even with it infused, Purple Chocobo
sometimes spends too much time positioning itself at
the beginning of battles and does not get off any
extra buffs before the Paradigm Shift.
Resist Physical +36% (7): A defensive option that focuses on Purple Chocobo
more than its upcoming allies. If your plan is just
to start the battle with Purple Chocobo and then
immediately switch, skip this. Otherwise, if you
plan to keep Purple Chocobo on the field for any
decent period of time against hard-hitting opponents,
you could choose to replace Auto-Protect and
Auto-Shell with Resist Physical +36% and Resist
Magic +36%.
