Namco 在 TGS 上公布皇牌空战新作《皇牌空战ZERO：巴尔干的战争》Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War，今日 Namco 宣布该做将于明年推出美版。
《皇牌空战ZERO：巴尔干的战争》的故事是发生在《皇牌空战5》故事的15年前。玩家扮演的是一个Ustio 手下雇佣军，Ustio 是 Belka 边界旁的一个小国家。
目前没有关于该游戏是否加入online模式的消息。

September 23, 2005 - Namco's Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War was recently unveiled in Japan at the annual Tokyo Games Show. Today Namco has announced that it will release the title in North America sometime in 2006.


According to Namco, "Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War challenges players to develop their high-flying reputations while facing off against rival pilots in white-knuckled dog fights... Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War thrusts players back in time, 15 years before the events of Ace Combat 5, and reveals the events that led up to the last chapter of the franchise. Players will take on the role of a mercenary hired to fly for Ustio, a small country bordering Belka, and face off against rival pilots throughout the game."
No word on whether or not this one will finally incorporate an online mode. There is also no word on when Ace Combat Zero will release to European markets.
