Smartvu 測試報告

今天下午拿到了Smartvu來測試 Got the Smartvu thing this afternoon，gonna run some tests tonight

插到電視的HDMI入口後就可以看到Menu畫面了 Menu screen appeared after inserting into TV's HDMI slot 可惜我的無限屬標和鍵盤不能用......:( 只能整場使用usb屬標了... 不過並不太困難 It's a pity that my old wireless mouse and keyboard wouldn't work on the Smartvu Had to use an USB mouse for the entire operation..... it wasn't too hard though

和手機很像，可以看到所有安裝的app Just like an Android phone，all apps installed are visible 進入Playstore的話與手機板是一樣的 Even the Playstore is the same as Android phones

如果要看亞州網路影片的話，用原本附帶的瀏覽器是不行的 甚至連Google Chrome都不行 Asian stream programs would not load under its default browsers Not even Google Chrome...... 所以必須下載 Dolphin瀏覽器 So I had to download Dolphin browser

海豚瀏覽器雖然可以看這些節錄了 可是stream和解析的速度非常遲緩 Although now videos can be streamed in Dolphin browser But the speed and graphic runs extremely lagging

Youtube速度跑得很快 However Youtube runs very smoothly Youku 卻又非常慢...... Again，Youku runs very slowly 而且用本身自帶的瀏覽器或Google Chrome是完全看不了的 Same as other Asian stream videos，it wouldn't run at all when using the default browser or even Google Chrome

所以最好的還是要去Playstore下載一個Youku的App So the best thing to do is to download a Youku App from the Playstore 如此一來很多熱門的視頻就都能看了!! In this way，I can even get a list of the featured videos 而且視頻速度變得非常暢快! And the streaming speed is satisfactory 還可以看最新的康熙來了~~ Even the newest Asian popular TV show!!

可惜Whats APP， QQ 和威信都不能使用 It's a pity both Whats APP and Wechat can not be installed Even the most popluar communication software QQ isn't compitable

Angry Bird 和 水果忍者可以很順暢運行 Gracefully Angry Bird and Fruit Ninja works perfectly!

數讀也可以免費下載 Sudoku is also avilable 植物大戰僵屍貌似也可以玩呢 Maybe even Plants vs Zombies...... since it's downloadable

彩色便條紙很方便，語言切換系統也健在! Multiple language input is also present in the system Which is a real bonus

各種常用的小資源App都可以安裝 Any one needs the Words of Truth and Life? 免費的安卓版Office，內含Word，Excel等 Free Office App from Playstore，including Word and Excel，etc... Excel裡面也可以寫程式 Formulas also works well in this version of Excel!

很流行的口奈照片裝飾App 可以使你的照片變得更美麗~~~ Popular photo editing App that can make your photo looks very cute 雖然使用時App當掉兩次.... 不過最後還是順利修改成功了 Although the App crashed twice during my editing..... I got to finish my photo at last with Recovery function installed in the App

Facebook也是正常的顯示照片... 不像電視的App Unlike the TV app，Facebook App works exactly like the Android phone Which shows photos from the wall 任何不想要的App都可以通過Kill App停止 Unwanted running Apps can be stopped at anytime

Line可以完整使用! Despite Whats App and QQ and other communication Apps have failed Line works just fine with all those lovely emotion stickers 免費互聯網電話仍然可以使用 不過還是需要個麥克風...... 因為我沒有所以無法測試 Free calling to each other with Line!! Free chatting time anyone?? Still you'd need a mic for that，unfortunately I don't have a mic So I couldn't test it on Smartvu

Google地圖也很方便... 誰還需要一本厚厚的地圖呢? Plan your travel just got easier with Google Map! 天氣的App會在大螢幕上變得很寬很不清楚... 也可以放在桌面直接顯示 Weather App got stretched on the high resolution TV screen But I can drop a Widget on to the desktop and still looks  fine

還可以展示自己的遊戲獎盃和成就...... Showing off your trophy and achivment? Make a widget on your desktop! 懷念經典遊戲~~ Classic games for old timers

也可以自訂動畫桌面 不過像Matrix這種太複雜或大容量的動畫桌面會跑得很慢... I customized my live wallpaper with beautiful theme However bigger and bigger and complicated theme such as the Matrix Would make the system very lag

總結: Smartvu有1G的內存容量，可以插在電腦上複製你想要的檔案到Smartvu裡面 想用無限鼠標與鍵盤的需要用新款的無限裝置，我的無法使用，估計是因為太舊了 Smartvu裡面本身有自己的wifi發信接收器，所以沒有上網功能的電視可以藉此上網 簡單來說就是，Smartvu就是把你的電視變成一個大的tablet 不過也並不是所有的App都能使用的 關於想看亞洲節目的用戶，最好先確定找到免費的視頻網站再考慮用這個在電視上撥放 Summary: Smartvu has 1G memory，you can insert into your computer and copy the files you want to use on Smartvu Since I used very old wireless mouse and keyboard，I couldn't get it to work，but as stated on the manual，you will need a new version of wireless mouse and keyboard to be able to function Smartvu has a built in wifi connection point，so anyone has a smart TV but does not have a wifi function can use this one instead In other words，Smartvu is just for turning your TV into a larger PAD But remember you may not be able to install all the Apps on your Smartvu For users wanting to watch Asian stream videos，it's best to find the free stream video sites on your computer first then to try with Smartvu on your TV
