GameStop hints at Super Smash Bros U release date
Games retailer GameStop hints at an April 8, 2014 release date for the upcoming Super Smash Bros U for the Wii U.
Mark your calendars: according to GameStop, Super Smash Bros U will be released on April 8th, 2014. Nintendo has previously confirmed that Super Smash Bros U will be released in 2014.
GameStop is known for outing the release dates of high profile games. But almost as often, those dates end up being placeholder dates. So it’s pretty much a 50/50, a coin toss, whether we’ll see Super Smash Bros U in April or not.
It wouldn’t be too far from previous Smash Bros release dates. Brawl was released in March 2008, and unlike other publishers, Nintendo tends to release some of their important games in the Spring and Summer months.
Nintendo is developing Super Smash Bros for both the Wii U and the 3DS at the same time, with help from the guys over at Namco Bandai.

前作于2008年3月发布，大乱斗系列最新作《任天堂全明星大乱斗U》由任天堂与南梦工合作开发，有所不同的是，该作掌机版本与家用机版同步开发，近日GameStop透露了家用机版本的发售日：2014年4月8日。
任天堂官方已经确认大乱斗新作将于2014年内发布，考虑到GS以往对游戏作品发售日预测的准确性和任天堂春夏大作的惯例，相信这一天不会遥远。
