Nintendo of Japan has confirmed on its 3DS support page that Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will not support the Circle Pad Pro (also known as the Slider Pad or Slide Pad Expansion) attachment for the current 3DS and 3DS XL handhelds.

Super Smash Bros. 3DS will, however, take advantage of the C-Button on the redesigned New Nintendo 3DS and New 3DS XL, both of which also feature an extra set of shoulder buttons. Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii supported a variety of control options. Controllers with second analog sticks, like the GameCube controller and Classic Controller, enabled players to pull off the Smash Attack via the C or R Stick, while Wii Remote controls required directional control plus button presses for the attack. At this time, it is unclear how lack of Circle Pad Pro support will affect the game for 3DS owners.

原因大概是假肢占用了红外口，可能会和amiibo冲突。但这不是彻底不支持假肢的理由，总之比较悲剧
