ソニーは公式ブログで「PS4 Pro」に関する”The Ultimate FAQ”を掲載。想定されるユーザーからの様々な質問に対して”究極的な”回答を載せているのですが、なかでも目を引くのが4Kテレビのサイズについてでした。
Q：PS4 Proで遊ぶには何インチの4Kテレビを購入すべきなのか？
テレビのサイズといえば「部屋の広さ」や「視聴距離」などを考慮して選ぶものです。そのため公式な回答は出来ないとしながらも「平均的な部屋には60インチが良い」と非公式に答えています。
A：これは非公式な回答になりますが、平均的なリビングルームには60インチ以上の4Kテレビで良い結果が得られました。新しい4Kテレビを購入する際は、HDR10に対応したモデルを選ぶことを強くオススメします。

Following the unveiling of the PS4 Pro yesterday, Sony has posted an ultimate FAQ answering a bunch of questions that fans may have about their upcoming console.
However, when browsing through the standard answers of how much the PS4 Pro costs, and when it will release, Sony has given an answer in response to what size 4K TV potential adopters of the PS4 Pro should be looking to buy. It turns out, they really like big screens.
While it does state that they can’t “give official recommendations on TV size due to variables in room size, seating distance, and media type,” they do have an unofficial answer which seems a little extreme.
The FAQ answer reads, “Unofficially, the staff of PlayStation.Blog has observed good results in average living rooms with 4K TVs sized 60″ and up. If you’re in the market for a new 4K TV for PS4 Pro, we strongly recommend selecting a model with HDR10 compatibility, which will enable increased image vividness and contrast in HDR10-enabled games and movies.”
While it’s important to understand that a 4K resolution will look better, the bigger the TV, we’re thinking 60″ may be far too big for the average living room. Well, at least you (sorta) have an answer from Sony now, anyway.
