Barcelona Preparing Mega Kaká Offer?
Sport.es claims that FC Barcelona are attempting the impossible by attempting a part-exchange bid for AC Milan playmaker Kaká...
The pro-Barcelona daily claims that there is talk within the corridors of power at Camp Nou that the time could be ripe to make a concerted effort to bring Kaká to Catalunya.
President Joan Laporta is eager to give the hole club a boost by renewing the squad with at least one big name in an attempt to banish the memories of two barren seasons, and Kaká could fit the bill there.
'Selling Club'
The issue is, of course, that Milan have absolutely no motivation to sell one of their prize assets. However, the rossoneri are themselves looking to rebuild after a fairly disastrous season at the San Siro, and as such a part-exchange could suit both sides.
Milan's interest in Ronaldinho and Gianluca Zambrotta is well-known, and with Deco also set to leave Camp Nou, he could be a third makeweight in what would be one of the biggest player-for-player deals in footballing history.
Even if Deco is not involved, Ronaldinho, Zambrotta, and a fee of ?0m could potentially see Milan tempted to come to the negotiating table, even if nothing would be settled just yet.
For now this deal remains mere paper talk, but there is certainly motivation for each side to give it some thought.
