根据《daily The People 》的消息，切尔西新任主教练斯科拉里打算给球队射手舍甫琴科另外一次机会，希望他还能够闪耀斯坦福桥。
乌克兰球星是在2006年以3900万欧元的价格从AC米兰加盟切尔西的，但是直到现在他还未能证明自己的价值，他也一度被评为英超最失败的转会之一。
在这里度过的两个赛季，他发现进球非常困难，前段时间传出蓝军打算将其租借的消息，AC米兰和巴塞罗那都非常希望能够租借至队中。
但是在夏天早些时候任命的新任主教练斯科拉里打算再给乌克兰核弹头一次机会，希望他还能够闪耀斯坦福桥。这个打算也让球队老板阿布拉莫维奇非常高兴，因为正是他在两年前把乌克兰核弹头接到了斯坦福桥。
斯科拉里将在明天球员休假结束归队后开始他在蓝军的正式执教。
舍甫琴科在格兰特执教时仅仅出场17次，他被认为将在球队俄罗斯和远东之行时获得机会。
New Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari is willing to give striker Andriy Shevchenko another chance to shine at Stamford Bridge, news daily The People claims.
The Ukrainian star joined Chelsea from AC Milan in 2006 for a fee of 39 million euros but has yet to justify such figure, having been considered one of Premier League's biggest transfer flops.
After two seasons in which he found goals extremely hard to come by, it was reported that The Blues were ready to off-load the player, with AC Milan and Barcelona emerging as possible suitors.
But Big Phil, who was appointed as coach earlier this summer, is interested in granting Shevchenko another opportunity to shine, this way pleasing the club's owner, Roman Abramovich, who orchestrated the Ukrainian's signing nearly two years ago.
Scolari will have the chance to coach his recently-inherited squad for the first time in tomorrow's pre-season training.
Shevchenko, who made just 17 appearances for Chelsea under Avram Grant, is expected to be given a starting role in the club's pre-season tour of Russia and the Far East. |
