[PS3]PS3操作系统公布——Yellow Dog Linux

Sony总裁Kutaragi曾经“散布”过不少PlayStation 3操作系统的“谣言”和“传闻”，表示Sony对OS X以及Linux都有一定兴趣。

目前来看，我们终于有了一个获胜者——Yellow Dog Linux 5.0最终获选成为PlayStation 3操作系统平台。

Terra Soft官方网站已经宣布，其新版Yellow Dog Linux操作系统将支持PlayStation 3游戏主机，并且暗示将在近期提供更***S3操作系统演示视频。

Yellow Dog Linux 5.0将和PS3一同在11月中旬发布。

Yellow Dog Linux是一直用在powerPC处理器上，也有比较久历史了

for PS3版本里面带有的东西
“Under basic agreement with SCEI, Terra Soft was granted a unique opportunity to develop and bring to market a complete Linux OS for the Sony PLAYSTATION 3. In development of Yellow Dog Linux v5.0, Terra Soft integrated and enhanced code from Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Sony Group, and Fedora in order to offer the following:
- kernel 2.6.16
- gcc 4.1.1 and glibc 2.4
- Cell SDK 1.1
- OpenOffice.org 2.0.2
- FireFox 1.5.0 and Thunderbird 1.5.0
- Nautilus 2.14
