Exclusive: Splinter Cell Brings 1080p to Xbox 360

Our first clue was that the pre-release version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent, which installs to the Xbox 360 debug hard drive, contained an option for 1080p support. The option was buried under the system options in the console Dashboard -- easily overlooked.

Once we noticed the new option, we immediately followed up with Ubisoft. Would the retail version of Splinter Cell: Double Agent also support 1080p output on the retail Xbox 360?

A Ubisoft representative's answer was short and to the point: "Yes."

UPDATE: No word yet on whether it's an update on the game disc or a forthcoming Xbox Live download, but Ubisoft has confirmed 1080p support to us.


Splinter Cell 4 已经於10月份发售,有趣的是PS3号称的1080P时代...360将更早实现！.

我480i的电视节目也可以upscale到720p, 但是能跟原始720p信号比么？

我只知道HDMI是可以无损传输信号，从来没听说只有HDMI可以输出1080P!自己想想吧，色差是可以支持1080I,难道就不能支持1080P吗？

分量确实不能稳定的传输1080P，要VGA线才可以

不过系统都还没有更新把，有1080P的输出选项吗

老老实实做好720p的游戏吧。。。。。。。。。。。。。。有几个人的电视真的支持到1080p呢？ 九牛一毛啊 等大家的HDTV都上去了 再出什么1080p吧 跟风要不得

个人认为XBOX360和PS3的1080P都只是分辨率和侦数达到1080P的要求，但画面根本远不及真正的1080P!

就象同样是3X变焦，数码变焦和光学变焦一样吗？
