Fall Update Fix Coming
We’re hearing from a small number of customers (less than 1%) that are having issues with the Fall Console Update. I’ve been told that the team should have an updated version in the next 12-24 hours. We’ll let you know when the issue is resolved.
If you are having problems with the update for any reason, please call Xbox Support (1-800-4-MY-XBOX in the US and Canada). We’re working with those affected to get them back up and running, and we’re committed to making sure the update doesn’t cause problems for anyone else.
Having an issue with the Fall update ?
It turns out that there is a very small number of people are having issues with the Fall update that we rolled out a couple of days ago. I just spoke to the Dashboard team, and they are aware of it and working on an update that we will rolling out in a matter of hours, not days. If you already have the update and you are connected to Xbox Live and playing games etc., then you can continue on with your day. If you are having problems, call your local Xbox Support number (get your local number from Xbox.com) and they’ll get you taken care of. I’ll update this post when the update is available, but as I said…if you are up and running now on Live…you don’t have anything to worry about and this won’t affect you.
Edit: An updated version of the Fall Update is now available on Xbox Live which has elminated issues relating to new or refurbished consoles failing after applying the Fall Update. Users who have already applied the Fall Update and are seeing an error message should call their local Xbox Support telephone number. If you already have the update, you will not be prompted
大概内容:已经证明了有极少用户在秋季升级后出现问题,他已经跟操作平台小组说了,将会在数小时后解决,而不是数天。说如果你已经下载了升级还正联线玩游戏就跟你没有关系。如果你有问题,给你当地微软打客服电话,他们会关照你的。他说一有最新更新程序他就贴出来。还说如果你现在正在LIVE上面游戏,不要担心这些不会影像你。
备注:
有些新机子或再生机在升级秋季更新后出现故障。那些发现错误信息的用户应当拨打当地微软客服电话。如果已经顺利更新,不需要马上进行另一个更新。
微软Xbox360秋季更新已经在10月31日正式完成了,更新完毕之后Xbox360拥有了1080P的Full HD解析度输出,改善了内存管理方式,简化了Xbox Live登陆界面等。日前,来自微软官方Blog的消息,微软将在12至24小时以后再次进行小幅度的更新。
在该文中微软高层johnporcaro表示,在本次的秋季更新中,发觉有少数的玩家(在1%以下)更新后出现了不同程度的问题,微软将会在12至24小时内放出对应此类玩家的修正程序,彻底的解决这一问题。johnporcaro表示,部分玩家已经出现无法开机的情况,这部分玩家可以致电相应地区的微软服务热线,微软将会以最快的速度解决这一问题。
国内不少玩家(特别是港版6月28日以后出厂的主机)在进行了秋季更新之后出现了错误代码为E66的问题,开机不能,可能就是本次秋季更新的Bug造成,现在还未进行更新的Xbox360玩家不妨稍待片刻,等待微软放出更完善的补丁后再更新。
