台词中总会出现一些平日游戏时候看不到的亮点，而这些亮点往往发自那些边缘Staff，如 Mission 3里面的医务兵、水手，他们的语言往往非常直观的侧面衬托了一场紧张激烈的战争，与此相同，在这一Mission中，负责发射SSTO的国際宇宙基地的成员，在与时间赛跑的过程中，也让人从侧面感受到不一样的战斗，那就是故事中的故事吧。推荐关注Space Center Staff的台词。

) V4 n* ?  ~# I, s( B       Osean为了重整战斗力量，决定做一次重大战略转移，将Vulture，Buzzard，和Kestrel号航母在内的庞大第三舰队撤入内海。 Wardog奉命为Kestrel护航。当三艘航母在Eglin海峡合流后，整只舰队遭遇不明来历的弹道导弹袭击，5000英尺以下所有事物，尽毁。最后损失惨重的第三舰队，只剩下二度逃生的Kestrel，以及我们的Wardog中队和Swordsman。

       今次，Osea在上次遭遇重损后，查明发动攻击的是艘来自Yuke共和國的潜水航母——Scinfaxi号。经过Osea***军决定，将启用 Arkbird来抗衡敌军新型潜艇。于是，Osea利用Basset国际宇宙基地的太空发射轨，来发射激光兵器与远在太空的Arkbird接洽，世事难料，Basset国际宇宙基地是Osea和Yuke当年的共同计划下的产物，Yuke共和國见状决不会坐视不理，就在Osea发射太空舱的前十分钟，派出空降***部队进行基地的占领行动，就这样，在Basset西边不远的Heierlark空军基地，只是到那里去加油的Wardog们被“赶”出来应战…… 如此严峻下，他们最终有没有发射？还有，为什么Yuke直到现在才瞄上Basset宇宙基地呢？到底有甚么是不为人知的？

(Nagase)     Our landing point was in the state of North Osea, formerly a haven for Belkans but now entrusted to Osean rule.
           If you refer to it by that name in front of a local though, he'll put a scowl on his face and tell you that this is South Belka.

这里关于地名也很有意思，Belka在Osea国以北，所以原来叫South Belka的州在Osean的统治下后，改名为了North Osea州，不知道是不是Osea故意挖苦他们。但是，作为现实的话，我认为是不可能这样做的，试想，这对当地的居民是一种多么大的侮辱啊，所以那里的居民一听你叫它North Osea就来火了么。^_^

  An SSTO craft launch facility lies to the east of our current location, McNealy Air Force Base. The facility was a collaborative project between Osea and Yuktobania. It was built to be a bridge to outer space with a Mass Driver 7.5 miles in length.
      坐落在我们现在的地方、McNealy空军基地东边的，是一座SSTO(SSTO craft：单轨穿梭机)发射设施。该设施曾是Osea和Yuke共和國的共同计划下建造的。藉由一个冲程达7.5英里的太空发射轨，它成为了我们连接外太空的桥梁。

(Nagase)    I remember this Space Center well. The mass driver was built by Osea and Yuktobania as part of their collaborative efforts to construct an international space station. Our anti-war President used the surplus funds that came from cutting the defense budget to build it.
                  对这个宇宙基地，我好像还挺记忆犹新的。（记得当年）这个太空发射轨道是Osea 和Yuke两国合作建立国际空间站的计划中的一部分。我们的“和平***”总统，用那些从国防预算中削减出来的钱建造了它。

mass drive:值得好好研究的东西。在翻译中我将它翻译成“太空发射轨”，因为它本来就是一个单轨的弹射、发射装置，作用如同跑道，只不过更加精确，高速，一般用于宇宙航天器的发射。

The "mass driver" is a "catapult" tube which launches materials from the lunar surface to a Catcher/Collector, perhaps near a factory in orbit near the Moon. The mass driver is like a gun without the explosive gunpowder. It is powered by electricity, producing magnetic fields to accelerate cargoes through an accelerator tube. No fuel propellant is required for lunar launch, and there's no big vehicle to launch. The mass driver shoots a large number of small payloads, continuously, rather than an occasional large payload.

(Nagase)The Arkbird... A white bird built as the first step toward the realization of the space station project. Now it's left its orbit and is just low enough to graze the atmosphere. It's coming down to pick up the laser cannon they're about to launch.
                  Arkbird……作为实现宇宙空间站计划的第一步而建造的一只白鸟。现在，为了接收他们正要发射的激光兵器，它离开了自己的轨道，打算降到大气层的高度。

graze v.放牧, 吃草, 擦伤, 擦过。降落一定会和大气层摩擦，所以graze用上去很形象，固有用法。
