8.5 Presentation
It’s basic, but it’s also crisp, polished, and very stylistic; par for the WarioWare course. Use of the Wii remote in and out of the game is slick and intuitive.
8.0 Graphics
WarioWare’s style is nearly inexplicable. One minute you’re looking at crude crayon art, and the next minute you step into the Wind Waker world. No 16:9, but 480p is appreciated.
8.0 Sound
Just as random and odd as the art direction. The Wii-mote speaker is used in nearly every game, and the overall sound design – while totally off the wall – is still pretty solid.
8.0 Gameplay
It isn’t the best WarioWare to date, but it’s a great introductory game. Some IR issues or odd motion sensing can get in the way at times, but it’s still plays great overall.
8.0 Lasting Appeal
Single player won’t take more than a few hours, but there’s some entertaining multiplayer (with hot-potato modes allowing 12 players). Lasting appeal comes from simplicity and charm.
