The whole team is in agreement that Milan are in just the right form and physical shape ahead of the trip to Manchester~
The players had this to say at the end of the win over Cagliari:
ANDREA PIRLO
Your free-kick was magical…
‘Yes, it went well this evening. I’ve been working on free-kicks in training and tonight I was able to do it. The last free-kick that I scored was against Reggina this year.’
What has changed for Milan since the start of the season?
‘This year we started the season with a lot of problems like the penalty point deduction and some injuries. We improved our condition over the winter and taken it all the way to the top. At the moment, we are doing well both physically and mentally.’
Is the Champions League or Serie A more important?
‘For us the Champions League is definitely more important. We want to win it, but first we must play this really important game on Tuesday. I am happy about being able to return to the Old Trafford for the third time.’

‘I am happy because we all played a great game against a good side like Cagliari. Their Suazo is very fast player. Many of us rested this evening in view of the game on Tuesday, but those who took to the field played well. Coach Ancelotti made the choices. The rotation works because we win the games and the players aren’t tired. Both the squad and I are happy because the results are arriving.
‘I am felling good. I haven’t played a lot, but I work hard in training because I want to show what I can do.
‘For me it was and it continues to be a positive season. Being able to play with Ronaldo is great for me. He is considered a really strong player as is Kakà so it's a real pleasure.’
RONALDO
'I have felt much better in recent months. I feel fit, I have scored in recent game because my position on the pitch has improved. I am very pleased to have scored seven goal, I am pleased for the whole team.'
If after a month your fitness is like this then what t will you be like having completed a full training programme ahead of next season?
'I have to thank everyone at Milan who from the first moment believed in me and did everything to get me fit. My aim is to improve even more. I was a bit down when I arrived at Milan, however, I have improved a lot now. My team-mates have a very important game on Tuesday, I won't be playing but I will be supporting them.'
Why this new look?
'President Berlusconi asked me to grow my hair and to cut the beard and if the president asks then I am happy to do it.'

Manchester?
‘We are strong. This is a period in which we doing truly well. The result that Manchester got against Roma isn’t conditioning us because we must go there to play our game, to play like Milan and to win. We know that Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player if we leave him space, otherwise he is just a player like all the rest.’

‘These games are really important to remaining in fourth place and we played well tonight. The squad were focused. Starting tomorrow we will be totally focused on Manchester.
‘I didn’t score, but even so it was a great game for me because the most important thing is that the side win and above all that they win on Tuesday. We are going through a great moment and I must help all of my team-mates. My future is here with Milan. Come on Milan!’
