Classic Sonic Arriving on XBLA Soon?
The original game is the first title in the SEGA Vintage Collection.

May 10, 2007 - Last year at E3 Microsoft and SEGA quietly announced Sonic the Hedgehog: High Speed for the Xbox Live Arcade. The game was supposed to be part of a series of SEGA console classics headed to Microsoft's download service, but the title soon dropped off our radar after E3. Now Dutch website SEGA Online has screenshots and a name for the classic series: SEGA Vintage Collection.

Our Dutch is a little rusty, so we can't be sure exactly what the site is announcing about the game. But the opening paragraph clearly says "Xbox Live Arcade," and the screenshots show a title screen where "Leaderboards," "Achievements," and "Return to Arcade" options can be found.
