***不管是Z还是D，现在里面的HALO3测试版下载都是灰色的，，，，，，，已经玩上的同志都是参加了活动后MS给玩家发送的下载CODE才能下载，，，，，，，至于***的拥护，可能还要等上一段时间，，，，，MS到底是不是在忽悠咱们呢，谁也不清楚

When you purchase a specially marked version of Crackdown, you secure an invitation to be one of the first users to play the highly anticipated Halo 3 multiplayer public beta edition.

Important information
• To play the Halo 3 multiplayer public beta edition as soon as the game is available, you must be connected to Xbox Live so that you can obtain a download from Xbox Live Marketplace.  
• When the Halo 3 multiplayer public beta edition is released, the Download Halo 3 Beta option will be enabled automatically. Select that option to connect to Xbox Live Marketplace to download the beta edition.
Note This beta edition is free and does not require any codes to play.  
• On the Main Menu in Crackdown under Downloads, select Download Halo 3 Beta.
Note The Download Halo 3 Beta option be unavailable until the beta is released.
• After you download the Halo 3 multiplayer public beta edition, select Play the Halo 3 Beta on the Main Menu in Crackdown to play the game.
Important This is the only location from which you can start the Halo 3 beta edition.
• The Halo 3 multiplayer public beta edition is available only for a limited time. After the beta period expires, the Halo 3 beta option on the Main Menu in Crackdown will no longer be available.
• The Halo 3 multiplayer public beta edition is available in English only.  
• Only users who have an Xbox Live Gold membership receive the option to play the Halo 3 beta. However, users who have an Xbox Live Silver membership can play the Halo 3 beta on “Free Gold” weekends or if they use a "Free 2 day" card.  
• To play the Halo 3 multiplayer public beta edition, you must have an Xbox 360 Hard Drive attached to the console.

在官方解释里已经说的很清楚了，beta测试版是完全免费而且不需要输入任何CODE的

但是这个beta版下载是有时间限制的，如果超过了时限，就Halo3的下载按钮仍然恢复成灰色

下载以后，唯一运行Halo3 beta版的方式是从Crackdown里，选择Play Halo3 beta
