It’s hard not to post about these minute details that are popping up about Killzone for the PS3.
A couple of weeks ago we learned of Guerrilla Games’ presentation for the Develop Conference, this week thanks Epix at PS3Forums, we’ve learned that Second Intention has worked with Guerrilla Games on “graphics technology research”.
Although they’ve completed their contract in 2005, they have continued working with Guerrilla Games on what we assume to be the lighting system for Killzone on the PS3。
It’s obvious that some heavy research has been going into the development of Killzone and we’ll finally get to see if it all pays off in the coming weeks. Be sure to check out Second Intention’s impressive ‘Worldlight’ portfolio at the link below.
PS:Second Intention completed a graphics technology research contract for Guerrilla in 2005. We are currently working with Guerrilla on a longer-term research and development contract exploring a variety of cutting-edge rendering techniques.

PS:貌似Epix是Second Intention公司的一名开发人员或者是一个对KZ2开发有所了解的液内人士?之前传出杀戮2将采用Deferred rendering技术,看来《杀戮地带2》的确在试图使用多种尖端渲染技术来提高《杀戮地带2》的表现。
