This is my personal interpretation of the museum flashback:

It consists of three sections: The dinosaurs, space exploration and wildlife.

I think that the dinosaurs represent the past. Maybe Ellie's past in particular or the world's state before the outbreak.

The space exploration part represents the future and humanities and/or Ellies hopes and dreams. It represents curiosity, the desire to explore, maybe also naivety and something that largely is and will forever be out of reach. In a way it could also represent the Fireflies and their desire of finding a cure.

The wildlife section represents the harsh reality of the present and truth. The wolves ganging up on the elk represent a dog eat dog world, the brutality of nature and self destruction of mankind.

The location of the wildlife section of the museum is disconnected from the space exploration section. You can't go back up. This could means Ellies and humanities hopes and dreams have been crushed. Even their hopes and dreams are out of reach.



What's your interpretation?

这是我对博物馆倒叙的个人解释：

它包括三个部分：恐龙，太空探索和野生动植物。

我认为恐龙代表了过去。也许是Ellie的过去或爆发前的世界状态。

太空探索部分代表了未来以及人类和/或Ellie的希望和梦想。它代表着好奇心，探索的欲望，也许还有天真，以及在很大程度上和将来将永远遥不可及的事物。在某种程度上，它也可以代表萤火虫及其寻找治愈方法的愿望。

野生动物部分代表了当下与现实的严酷现实。狼群围攻驼鹿代表了狗吃狗的世界，自然的残酷和人类的自我毁灭。

博物馆野生动物区的位置与太空探索区的位置断开。游戏中你不能回头。这可能意味着Ellie和人类的希望和梦想已被粉碎。甚至他们的希望和梦想都遥不可及。

解读很好，我也去upvote了。
我自己玩的时候感到的是恐龙+太空部分合起来是种艾莉对于既无法回溯、也注定不可抵达的世界的浓浓"乡愁"，既是自然也是人文具有二重性的"昨日地球的美好世界 x 人类群星闪耀时"；
而最后的野生动物部分氛围急转直下，象征的则是当下人类社会丛林生态的严酷现实，跟主楼解读相仿。

至于overinterpretation什么的………已经2020嘞还讲auteur theory真是要不得，文本当然是开放的，aka "作为作者的ND已死"。
