PLAYSTATION? HDD 60GB launches in Singapore on 7 March
23/02/2007 Singapore, 22 February 2007, Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited　(SCEH), today announced the release of PLAYSTATION? (PS3™), 60GB HDD (Hard Disk Drive), in Singapore from 7 March 2007, at the retail price of S$799.

One of the new services available to the PS3™ is the PLAYSTATION甆etwork, which users will be able to download a wide variety of entertainment content such as high definition movie and game content including free trial games from the PLAYSTATION甋tore portal. The PLAYSTATION Network service will be available on the same day as the launch of PS3™. For more information, please visit PlayStation?Asia’s Official Website at http://asia.playstation.com.

In addition, 10 PS3™ games will also be made available in Singapore on the launch date. These include the popular racing game - "Ridge Racer 7", and first-person shooting online game - "Resistance: Fall of Man". The game "Resistance: Fall of Man" allows PS3™ users to play with 40 online users at one time.

  


The fun continues with a limited period free download of the hugely popular "Gran Turismo HD Concept" (now in Hi-Def) from the PLAYSTATION甋tore. In addition, "Tekken 5 – Dark Resurrection" will also become available on the day of the launch at a very special price.

To mark the launch of PS3™ in Singapore, SCEH has set up a Singapore website. This will give Singapore users localized content such as regular game updates and competitions entitling users the opportunity to win grand prizes.
