【扫盲】实在看不下去了，自认为World at War不是正统COD续作的小白请入。

没有人怪你信息不够灵通或英文苦手，但是不做任何搜索就妄自得出各种结论就有点过分了。Activision的资深制作人早在年中就已经表示COD4以后的续作将不再加数字进标题。就不明白怎么还有那么多小白自以为是的发主题或回帖说World at War不是正统续作？！

World at War dev explains decision.

The Call of Duty games will never again have a number attached to their titles, the developer of the upcoming Call of Duty: World at War has revealed.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com at a first look press event in London, senior producer Noah Heller said: "We're getting rid of the number in Call of Duty for a very specific reason. It's because we want you to know that when you're playing Call of Duty: World at War you're playing the best shooter, the best WW2 game ever. Likewise when you're playing Modern Warfare, likewise when you play any game that will be called Call of Duty."

World at War is being made by Treyarch, the developer behind Call of Duty 3, not Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward. It sees a return to a WW2 setting, with a US campaign against the Japanese in the Pacific and a Russian campaign against the Germans during the race to Berlin.

Treyarch is implementing four-player co-op into the campaigns as well vehicles into the multiplayer.

Heller added: "The bar for us is not so much is it another game in this genre? It is, is it the best game in the genre? Players will always have time for the best games. They will always have time for highly rated games that show polish and love and passion from the team. I have no doubt about that. So as long as we can put that effort in and show the player that kind of polish I have no doubt that they are going to enjoy the game. I'm very confident about that."

没错，抛开精彩的单机不说，多人合作再加上LIVE对战，就WaW算不是COD系列的都值得入正搜藏。但就是看不下去自己认为什么就是什么的小白们。

如果要分清楚~~它肯定就不是正统续作，因为在1和2之间就有个《联合战争》，这个性质和那个是差不多的，如果这样也算续作，那么我们现在玩的4就是5，WW很多人就叫成COD6了~~~
等到真正标题上写5的COD出来就明白了~~~~
而且不是正统续作又不代表不值得珍藏~很多游戏的资料篇甚至比正作要优秀~~可以吧CODWW看做COD4的二战版~~反正我是订了的~~COD4的引擎~不能错过啊~~
