索尼公司宣布，PS3主机在德国市场的销售量达到100万台。索尼公司发言人表示：“能够在2008财年度即将结束的2个月前达成PS3在德国销量突破100万台的目标我们感到十分高兴和自豪。”
与PS3相比，WII销量已经达到200万。文中未提及X360的销量。

SCE Germany has announced that the PlayStation 3 has reached their target two months ahead of schedule.

Europe has always loved the PlayStation, and with the UK overtaking the console's home country in total video game sales, platform holders should take more notice of the region.

SCE Germany has announced that the PlayStation 3 has reached 1 million units sold, compared to the Wii's 2 million; a number they sought to achieve by the end of the 2008 fiscal year on March 31st.
