IPHONE的破解者乔治 霍兹最近在他的个人博客上写下了一篇日志，里面提到了他已经初步破解了PS3，这一共花了他五周时间。

“我已经读和写入了PS3系统的整个存储体，还进入了处理器中HV级别的部分。换句话说，我已经破解了PS3。”他声称。

自从PS3三年前发售以来，无数的HACKER曾经试图突破PS3完备的防破解技术，不过他们都失败了。

“曾经我们都认为PS3是不可破解的，不过事实上，没有什么不能被破解。”他告诉***新闻：“我现在可以任意处理PS3的系统，就像我已经得到了十分NB的新力量，不过我还不能确定该怎么支配PS3的系统。”

霍兹同时也提到他目前并不想泄露任何他破解PS3的技术，因为“并不是完全的可以破解，而且SONY也可能继续加强PS3的防破解技术。”

一位SONY的发言人称：SONY已经开始着手调查PS3被破解的声明，而且在查明信息后会及时的对公众作出解释。

Sony Investigating PlayStation 3 Hack Claims
Pirated software may soon be possible on Sony's system.

US, January 25, 2010 - Noted iPhone hacker George Hotz wrote on this personal blog he has cracked Sony's PlayStation 3 console, a process, he says, that took him five weeks.

"I have read/write access to the entire system memory, and HV level access to the processor. In other words, I have hacked the PS3," he claims.

Since the console's release three years ago, hackers have been unsuccessful at cracking the PlayStation 3's strong security.

"It's supposed to be unhackable - but nothing is unhackable," Hotz told *** News. "I can now do whatever I want with the system. It's like I've got an awesome new power - I'm just not sure how to wield it."

Holtz also said he is unwilling to reveal the exploit, saying it's "not really patchable," but Sony can make implementations much harder.

A Sony spokesperson said the company is investigating the report and would clarify the situation as more information becomes available..
