According to Japanese retailers, the PS2 version of Metal Gear Solid 3: S*** Eater and the soon to be released PSP title Metal Gear Acid will feature connectivity bonuses when you connect the two games together.
Apparently, using a USB cable between the two units will unlock bonus content for both games. But as far as what content is unlocked is still unknown.

The hidden feature is actually to unlock the hidden game mode entitled "Metal Gear solid- the 4 rifles" Where by S*** has 3 clones of different colors. 4 players (each requiring a psp) will control each s*** to accomplish various missions. A USB hub would be required to hook up 4 PSP to a single PS2.
